FARMING THE FUTURE
THROUGH SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE
OUR MISSION
As a premium commercial shellfish hatchery, our mission is to consistently produce the highest quality shellfish seed for our farmers and support their businesses by providing a stable seed supply.
On a broader scale, our mission is to accelerate the rate of innovation within aquaculture and grow United States aquaculture production domestically. Through growing the aquaculture industry domestically we can support healthy and sustainable farming practices, as well as help relieve pressure from wild stocks.
Through our specialty line of artisanal clam chowder soups, we hope to spread awareness around the benefits of eating shellfish, and sustainable aquaculture.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
INNOVATION
& RESEARCH
Research is the key to innovation. We are studying genetics and the possibility of breeding shellfish that can combat the acidification of our oceans, as well as optimal algal strains for the healthiest clam diet.
CONSISTENCY
We pride ourselves on consistent seed supply. Through focusing on quality assurance and biosecurity we have put protocols in place that ensure excellent survival rates and health all year long.
WATER TREATMENT QUALITY
Our water comes from an underground salt well, and goes through a sanitation process that includes being degased and biofiltered. We then sterilize and polish it through a UV sterilization unit.
EXPERTISE
Our team has 80+ years of combined experience in the fields of Aquaculture and Biology. We are very passionate about shellfish husbandry and it is an art form that we are continuously improving and mastering.
OPTIMAL
CONDITIONS
We have manufactured an ideal and stable environment for rearing shellfish. This includes everything from our facility location, a stable and clean water supply, and optimal algal strains/genetics.
RESTORATION
Our team is working towards a large-scale restoration effort to help clean coastal waterways, and rid them of harmful algal blooms. Shellfish sequester nitrogen and carbon combating algal blooms and acidification.
